LumiGems Initiation: Laying the Foundation
Follow Ahmed as he navigates the critical first steps of the LumiGems project, from identifying key players to getting formal approval.

Ahmed realizes that LumiGems won't build itself. He brainstorms everyone who could be affected by or influence the project – investors, designers, marketing, future customers, even regulatory bodies. This is stakeholder identification.

Not all stakeholders are created equal. Ahmed uses a power/interest grid to analyze each stakeholder's influence and engagement level. This helps him prioritize communication and engagement strategies.

Ahmed diligently records details about each stakeholder – their contact info, requirements, expectations, and classification – in a stakeholder register. This document will be a vital reference throughout the project.

Now, Ahmed drafts the project charter. This document formally authorizes the LumiGems project. It outlines high-level objectives, scope, key deliverables, risks, and identifies Ahmed as the project manager with authority.

Ahmed presents the project charter to the key sponsor (e.g., an investor or company executive). Once signed, it signifies official project approval. He then conducts a kick-off meeting with key stakeholders to formally announce the start of LumiGems!
